En su edición de noviembre/diciembre, Revista de arquitecto anunció los ganadores del 2023 Residential Design Awards, recognizing Turkel Design’s Casa de botes del lago Muskoka con Mención Honorífica en la categoría Dependencias.
Ubicado en Port Carling, Ontario, el Lake Muskoka Boathouse es una estructura utilitaria y minimalista hecha principalmente de madera apropiada para la región. De acuerdo a Arquitecto, it “introduces a streamlined, modern typology to these oft-banal structures.” Prefabricated off-site using Turkel Design’s proceso de firma, the boathouse “creates a precedent for efficient and thoughtful building under tight regulations and along sensitive coastlines.”
